Medical Superintendent of JNIMS Dr Kh Loskeswar has said that altogether 92 expecting mothers who fled persecution have been admitted to the health institute so far of which 70 have undergone successful delivery surgeries.
Addressing the media at JNIMS today, Dr Loskeswar said that Relief Committee JNIMS has been extending all possible help to the victims of the ongoing violence who need medical attention.
Saying that 273 victims of the ongoing violence who sustained injuries have been admitted to JNIMS so far , Dr Loskeswar maintained that another 92 expecting mothers who fled persecution were also treated at JNIMS.
He said that 21 women are still at the maternity ward of the hospital.
He appealed to all concerned including relief camp committees to prepare CMHT or PMJAY cards of the expecting mothers at relief camps before admitting them to the hospital.
