Governor extends festive gifts to Raj Bhavan staff

Imphal, November 07 2023: Ahead of two major festivals-Diwali and Ningol Chakkouba, Governor Anusuiya Uikey extended festive gifts and sweets to officers, staff and security personnel working in Raj Bhavan today.

The Governor distributed the sweets and gifts in a simple function held at the Durbar hall.

The gifts include blankets and mosquito nets, said PRO Raj Bhavan.

Speaking at the function, the Governor extended her greetings to all the staff and security personnel working in Raj Bhavan.

She shares the significance of both the festivals and wished for peace and harmony in Manipur.

While advocating the need to restore peace and tranquillity, she said the message of brotherhood and peaceful co-existence has to be instilled in the minds of all the people so that all differences can be sorted out to bring peace and normalcy like before in the State.
