Imphal, January 13 2023: Despite not having any active Covid cases currently, the State Government continues to appeal to the public to get vaccinated against the contagion in view of the surge in BF.7 variant in some parts of the world.

In its daily bulletin, the Covid Common Control Room also asked the people to follow Covid appropriate behaviour such as wearing of face masks and practise social distancing and hand hygiene to prevent Covid infections.

The control room also shared Helpline number 0385-2410009 for Covid related queries.

Meanwhile, no new cases of Covid nor any related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, as per the control room and as such the active cases remain nil.

71 samples were tested in the period (last year) while the number of Covid vaccines administered yesterday was 15.So far, 139924 have been infected by Covid of which 2149 died.
