ADC, Senapati donates garbage dumper vehicles to Town Committees

Senapati, September 21 2020: The ADC, Senapati donated Tata mini garbage dumper vehicles to Maram Town Committee and Tadubi Town Committee under town planning.

Hingba John, Vice Chairman, ADC, Senapati who is also in charge for town planning in the ADC, stated that various developmental programmes had been initiated in the Senapati District Headquarters, including drainage system, renovation of street lights, dustbins, etc.

With the installation of the Town Committee at Senapati, having appointed 14 Town Commissioners, the ADC, Senapati in collaboration with the Town Committee have been maintaining the town during their 1 year and 5 months tenure, led by the BJP coalition Government.

Solid waste management plan is also underway at a place near garbage disposal above Karong.

In this connection, the ADC, Senapati had bought a piece of land for use of the same.

A Kapani, Chairman, ADC, Senapati in his speech stated that Senapati district is growing up in different spheres and that the ADC under his leadership would give priority to developing the region.

Maintenance of dustbins and garbage disposals are important steps to be initiated by everyone in the district for clean and healthy lives, he mentioned.

The solid waste management would soon turn to useful fertilizer which is in great demand everywhere.

He asserted that the BJP led Government is trying to reach to grassroot level by introducing various developmental programs in various places including schools, Barack type quarters, public toilets, inauguration of Karong Senapati Town Committee office building, etc and sought the cooperation of all to support the Government even in future.

Flyover bridge which is already installed at Senapati Bazaar is reportedly to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister on September 23 through video conference.

The Chairman further stated that the BJP coalition Government is trying its best to initiate various developmental programs in the region.

The ADC Chairman also distributed blankets to 4 differently abled and 35 elderly persons between 80-90 years of age, at Tadubi.

The Town Committee members of Tadubi and Maram expressed gratitude to the ADC, Senapati for providing such useful mechanics.
