AISU Golden Jubilee celebration concludes

Noney, December 14 2022: The 3-days long Golden Jubilee celebration of All Inpui Students' Union (AISU) concluded today at Haochong Sub Division HQ, Noney District under the theme, "Recollect Reconnect, Reorient" .

The final day of the celebration was attended by Nungba AC MLA, Dinganglung Gangmei; Deputy Commissioner Noney, Joseph Pauline Kamson; Daichui Gangmei, convenor Joint Tribe Students' Association; and Dinreibou Pamai, former president LNKR as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Dinganglung Gangmei stated that success is not about being rich or poor, it depends on hard work, determination, time management and discipline.

"If we look into the ancestral history of Makuilongdi, the origin of Zeliangrong and Inpui, are close blood relations.

We are from one family so we should love and care for each other", said the MLA while adding that the Zeliangrong Inpui brethren should be specially focused on education as the community has a very low literacy rate compared to other communities.

Dinganglung Gangmei further assured to look into the matter of ADC Delimitation process.

Joseph Pauline shared that Haochong is a very beautiful village and one of the oldest villages in the area.

Cultural songs, games, choreography and dance competition were the main highlights of the event.

Earlier, the dignitaries were warmly welcomed with a guard of honor by Haochong Youth Club.
