A team of Sugnu police detained three Myanmar Nationals travelling in a Tata Sumo from Sugnu Khongnangkhong at around 5 pm yesterday.
The vehicle was coming from Serou side and upon checking at least three Myanmar Nationals were found carrying fake Aadhaar cards along with identity cards issued by Myanmar Government.
The three arrested foreign Nationals have been identified as Khaikhenmung (30), s/o Ginkhanchin (Aadhaar address given as Vengnuam Village, New Lamka Churachandpur); Thongka-pthang (30), s/o (L) Khamsuankap (Aadhaar address given as Mongken Village Singnat sub-division Churachandpur) and a juvenile (Aadhaar given as Mongken of Singnat sub-division, Churachandpur) .
On further questioning, it was found that the three are originally from Kalemyo, Saingang region, Kale district in Myanmar.
They boarded the Tata Sumo from T Nampao village, Chandel and were heading toward Churachandpur.
The three individuals have been handed over to Sugnu police station.
