ICOP on Vigilance Awareness Campaign held

A one-day Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) on Vigilance Awareness Campaign with special focus on Swachta Hi Seva was held at Relief Camp, Shyamashakhi High School, Moirangkhom today.
The ICOP was organised by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Regional Office, Imphal under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, said a release.
The programme was presided by Chandam Surjit Singh, Senior Member, Joint Committee, Yaiskul.
G.A Ghanapriya Devi, Cultural-in-Charge, CBC, Regional Office, Imphal and Thokchom Sushil Singh from Imphal Municipal Corporation(IMC) also attended the function.
An interaction was also held on Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers (PIDPI) Resolution where the identity of the complainant is kept secret and the complainant is protected from victimization for making such complaints.
The timelines of the Right to Information Act were also discussed.
An on the spot quiz contest was also conducted and prizes were distributed.
Cleaning and hygiene materials like soaps, hand wash, floor cleaner, bleaching powder, Harpic, dishwashing soaps etc.
along with notebooks for the inmate students were also donated.
Artistes of The Poklen Pokpa Artistes Association, Imphal West performed a magic show for the inmates of the relief camp.
