"Meeyamgi Numit & Hill Leaders Day" held across State

Jbm/Tml/Thb/Ukl, November 18 2022: District Administration Jiribam today organised the "5th District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit" at Chingdong Leikai, DC Complex Jiribam.

It was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, W Malemnganba Chenglei; Additional Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, Jameson Hangshing; SDPO Jiribam, T Inaobi Singh; SDC Borobekra, M Devananda Singh and other District Level Officers of the district.

During the programme, W Malemnganba Chenglei heard the grievances of the public and instructed the concerned department officials to redress the grievances.

More than 61 applications of various issues were also received for redressal.

TAMENGLONG
District Administration, Tamenglong also organised District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit at Mini Secretariat Auditorium Hall, Tamenglong District Headquarters.

During the programme, DC Tamenglong, Pawan Yadav interacted with the public to ensure that their grievances were addressed adequately.

The DC along with the officials led by Thangboi Gangte, ADM Tamenglong ensured the smooth functioning of the event.

25 different Government Departments set up stalls at the event.

THOUBAL
District Administration Thoubal also conducted "Meeyamgi Numit" at the Counting Hall of DC's Office Complex.

At the event, DC Thoubal, A Subhash Singh heard various grievances and demands of the public personally.

He also distributed CMHT cards to two beneficiaries.

Around 109 written applications were received today relating to different schemes including 28 applications for CMHT card 37 applications for old age, 12 for Widow Pension card and grievances related to other departments like PHED, Police among others.

20 stalls of different Departments were opened to meet the demand of the public.

SP Thoubal, Jogeshchandra Haobijam; CMO Thoubal, Dr Y Nokul, Sub-Divisional Officers and DLOs also attended the programme.

UKHRUL
"Meeyamgi Numit" for Ukhrul district was held today at DRDA Conference Hall Hamleikhong, Ukhrul.

During the programme, Ukhrul DC, Krishna Kumar heard various grievances of the public in the presence of CEO, Peter Kashungnao; ADM, Chunglenmang and DFO, Shanngam.

He also distributed baby kits to 6 female children and their mothers under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao; Water Pump sets to 25 farmers under District Horticulture Department and 5 Kg of rice each to the migrant workers under One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) .

Free Covid vaccination and health check-up was also carried out for the public.

ADC Ukhrul, Chunglenmang Kipgen; SDO, Maibam Suranjoy Singh; DFO, Shanngam Shaliwo; Additional SP, AC to DC, DLOs and of-ficialsof all line Departments of Ukhrul attended the event.
