Bikash's all-round display helps CYCLONE outclass WYC in MNCA Elite Tournament

Bikash Singh produced an all-round performance to steer CYCLONE (Thangmeiband) to a massive 84-run win over WYC (Thoubal Wangkhem) in a Group B match of the 6th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Tournament at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Bikash smashed an unbeaten 114 off 91 balls to help CYCLONE set a competitive 238 target for their Thoubal opponents.
The Thangmeiband side's innings also saw Longjam Ronald Meitei (52/84) make a decent contribution as Paul Zomi scored 23 off 28 balls and Narsingh Yadav got 16 off 14 balls.
CYCLONE lost 3 of their wickets to Tayenjam Tomba and one each to Wangkhem Laksmon and Huirongbam Bileshwor in the process.
Bikash backed up his brilliant batting display with the ball, wreaking havoc on WYC's top-order batters.
Bikash dismissed opener Wangkhem Shamungou for 22 and went on to send back third batsman Thokchom Momocha (7) early before he picked 2 more wickets.
WYC were all out for 153 in 34 overs.
In the chase, Huirongbam Biteshwor remained unbeaten on 31 in vain.
Longjam Ronald Meitei was another notable bowler for CYCLONE.
He did his bit with 2 wickets as Samsung Meitei Heisnam, Laishram Roshan, Thoudam Akshaykumar and Loktongbam Santosh bagged one each in CYCLONE'S comprehensive victory in their campaign opener.
With 144 runs (not out) and 4 wickets, Bikash Singh deservedly earned himself the man-of-the-match accolade.
Monday's fixture pits PTRC against REYS.
