Maisnam Jawan Singh:
Maisnam Jawan Singh, a regular member of Manipur polo team has been participating in the Manipur Polo International Tournament since 2012. A resident of Wangkhei Konsam Leikai, he was born on March 1, 1977 to Maisnam Nilamani Singh and Maisnam ongbi Bishshwori Devi.
As with many other polo players, Jawan started horse ridding from a very early age and by the time he reached the age of 10, he had already become very competent horseman.
Seeing his elder brother and uncle Maisanm Khelen, a reputed International polo player playing the game during his growing up years, Jawan dreamt of becoming a good polo player one day.
Today, he has the satisfaction of seeing that dream come true as he is considered one of the best polo players in the state.
Having made his debut as a professional polo player around 1990, Jawan has represented Manipur in various International polo tournaments including Festive Polo Tournament in 1995 and 1997, Lalit Singh Polo Tournament at Drass in 2012 and 2013, and Manipur Polo International Tournament 2012, 2013 and 2014 .

Asked about his experience of playing against foreign players in the Manipur Polo International Tournaments he has so far participated in, Jawan confided that even though the Manipuri players are fairly ahead in horse riding skills, the foreign players are better in stick work.
As for the coming edition of the Manipur Polo International Tournament, Jawan exuded confidence that the Manipur team is fully prepared to meet every challenge and give a fair account of itself.
Pukhrambam Ojit Singh:
Pukhrambam Ojit Singh a resident of Tentha Heibung, was born on December 5, 1983 to Late Poukhrambam Manobi Singh, a former polo player and Pukhrambam ongbi Manitombi.
Seeing his father play polo right from his childhood instilled in him the love of this game.
Ojit began horse riding by the age of 10 and at 14 years of age he had started playing polo.
He made his professional debut with Thoubal District Polo Club, then represented Tekcham Polo Club and at present he turns out for Khurai Polo Club.
Ojit went on to represent Manipur team at Lalit Suri Polo Tournament, Drass 2013 as also in the Manipur Polo International 2012, 2013 and 2014 .
Thangjam Ranjit Singh:
Thangjam Ranjit Singh hails from Khurai Thangjam Leikai and is the son of Thangjam Doren Singh and Thangjam ongbi Uma Devi.
He was born on January 1,1982.Learning to ride at the age of 10, he made his professional debut with the Khurai Polo Club, moving on to Meira Polo Club, Kangleipak Polo Club and at present he is with the Manipur Police Sports Club.
Coached by W Ingobi, a former polo player, Ranjit has so represented Manipur in Manipur Polo International 2000, 2014 and 2015 .
