National School (U-17 girls football): Manipur rout TN 6-0, claim winner's title

Manipur clinched the champion's title after defeating Tamil Nadu by margin of 6 goals to nil in the ongoing 60th National School Games, 2014 (under-17 girls football), organised by Department of Youth Affairs and Sports under the aegis of School Games Federation of India at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, Imphal.
Minister I Hemochandra, Youth Affairs & Sports and Tourism Parliamentary Secy M Prithviraj, Consultant to the Government of Manipur Dr RK Nimai Singh, YAS secy RK Dinesh and YAS Director N Ashok Kumar have graced the closing function as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
In today's final match, State eves Premi Chiru (3rd) and Sh Daya (64th) scored one goal each while W Ranjibala (36th & 48th) and Kasmina (43rd & 49th) slotted in two goals each to register a convincing 6-0 win against Tamil Nadu.
Earlier in the first semi final, Tamil Nadu beat Haryana 1-0 while in the second semi final a brace from Ranjibala in the 11 th and 57th minute helped Manipur to claim a 2-1 victory against Bihar.
