State girls crowned National School Games Football crowned

Imphal, December 09 2014:
Host Manipur crushed Tamil Nadu by 6 goals to 0 to clinch the title of the 60th National School Games in Football (Under-17) held at the Main Stadium of Khuman Lampak Sports Complex here today.
Kasmina and Sh Daya scored doubles while Premi Chiru and W Ranjibala netted one goal each for Manipur in the final match played at 12:30 pm at Khuman Lampak Main stadium here.
In the very first 3rd minute of the match, Premi Chiru opened the goal account for hosts side and W Ranjibala doubled the tally in the 35+1 minute.
Then, Kasmina smashed one goal in the 43rd minute to lead 3-0 at the interval.
Just after three minutes of the first half, Ranjibala netted her second goal and in next minute, Kasmina also completed her second goal.
The last goal came in the 64th minute through Sh Daya to seal the trophy for Manipur.
In earlier semifinal matches, Tamil Nadu beat Haryana by 1-0 and Manipur defeated Bihar by 2-1 .
In the Hard Line match, Haryana hammered Bihar by 7-2 goals.
The two goals of the Bihar were scored by Rashmi Kumari and Neha Kumari.
For Haryana, Samiksha and Nisha scored two goals each and Manisha, Neha Kumari and Bharti contributed one goal each to stand in the third place.
