Imphal, December 09 2014:
While conveying solidarity to all the suffering masses, the proscribed PREPAK has greeted all the people on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day (December 10) .
Either due to mis-govem-ance or colonial rule, a large number of people and several nations are still denied many fundamental rights.
Rampant human rights violation such as massacres, genocide and human rights violation resulting from religious fanaticism, commu-nalism and abuse of power by political leaders has been rising across the planet both in terms of degree and frequency.
According to a statement issued by the outfit's assistant secretary, publicity and propaganda Leibakngakpa Luwang, more and more youngsters are taking to intoxicating drugs on account of the growing violence in the society which ultimately render them victims of HIV/ AIDS.
If the human civilization should be protected, every man and woman should be given the opportunity to live with freedom and dignity under a cordial atmosphere.
As stated by UNESCO Director General Fedrico Mayor, the only way to enable mankind enjoy all fundamental rights fully without any restriction is resolving all kinds of conflicts.
If a man is denied the fundamental rights, he/she is as good as dead.
Human rights is the cornerstone of all human civilization.
The modem concepts of human rights have its genesis in the Magna Carta (1215), Bill of Rights introduced in England in 1689, American Independence and the Declaration of Rights of Man and Citizens in France in 1789.The question of human rights assumed its rightful place with UN General Assembly Declaration of December 10, 1948 .
Based on certain protocol of the International Covenant on .
Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Bill of Human Rights was introduced.
But most of the human rights guaranteed by the United Nations and its several declarations still remain far-fetched dream to many sections of people across the world.
Same is the case in Manipur (Kangleipak) as all political, economic and social rights are being violated systematically.
People of Manipur are given right to education, right to life and other fundamental rights by the Indian Constitution only on paper, the outfit alleged.
The Government of India has been allegedly committing genocide in WESEA by using its military forces who are shielded by the infamous AFSPA 1958 .
By grooming a wealthy class, the Government of India has been using the same wealthy class as a tool of sustaining their metropolitan power.
The Government of India has been con sistently scheming to rob away all the national collective rights of the people of Kangleipak.
it further alleged.
Though the right to self determination is inalienable to all nations, it appears very remote in Manipur.
"Nonetheless, if we can shed the parochial outlook of communal politics to wage a collective struggle, the common aspiration can be achieved for sure", the outfit asserted while calling upon all the people of Manipur to form a united front.
