The miserable of Hawk Eyes, Paona Bazar continued, when they were comprehensivlely beaten by PCA Patsoi by 10 wickets at the ongoing 1st State Level U-15 Keisham Birla Memorial Cricket Tournament being staged at YWC Ground, Patsoi Part I .
Put in to bat, Hawk Eyes, Paona Bazar were bundled out for 69 runs in 20 overs, with the bulk of the scoring coming from the bat of Nitish who scored 18 off 33 balls and Jemson 14 off 17 balls.
PCA Patsoi had little trouble in reaching the winning target of 70 on 8.3 overs, with contributions from all the players.
With this win, the team from Patsoi have entered the semi-final stage of the tournament.
With the bat, Shushil led the way for the winning team, hammering 39 balls off only 21 balls, followed buy Shushil with 14 runs off 16 balls.
Somil of PCA Patsoi bowled a tight length to return figures of 2 wickets in 2 overs conceding only 3 runs in the process, while L Dipu picked up 3 wickets in 4.5 overs, conceding 15 runs.
L Dipu walked away with the man of the match award.
It was a completely one sided match, with the Patsoi team dominating with the bat as well as ball, not to speak about the fielding.
With the semi-final line up complete, PCA Patsoi will take on Force Kshetrigao on January 11 while YWC Langthabal will meet Model Club, Chingamakha.
The tournament is being organised by the Youth Welfare Club, Patsoi Part-I.
