11th Manipur State League NEROCA FC emerge undisputed league leader

NISA, Thangmeiband squeezed out a 1-0 win over SSU, Singjamei while league leader NEROCA FC, Sangakpham thrashed TRUGPU, Nambol 4-0 today in the teams' last league matches of the 11th Manipur State League.
In the first encounter of the day, NISA and SSU started cautiously.
NISA's Sahabas' 8th minute goal was enough for the team to gain full points.
SSU pushed hard to find the equaliser.
The second half was marked by some hits and misses.
But SSU could not salvage till the final whistle.
SSU's chance of making it into the first eight teams will be decided by the result of the KLASA-YPHU match to be played later.
In case KLASA win the match, the hope of SSU to be among the first eight team will be dashed.
In another match, NEROCA FC, Sangakpham wrapped up the league round unbeaten as they thrashed TRUGPU, Nambol by a convincing margin of four goals to nil.
NEROCA's Nigerian striker Chenude Immanuel did the star turn for his team a he grabbed a treble while M Gobin contributed one to complete the 4-0 rout.
TRUGPU, despite being at the league bottom, put up a spirited fight against league leader NEROCA FC.
However, they proved too small to snap NEROCA FC's unbeaten run.
Obviously, their defence could not withstand the onslaught of NEROCA FC's and gave in four times.
Chenude Immanuel opened the scoring of NEROCA FC in the 12th minute.
M Gobin took charge to extend the lead in the 19th minute while Chenude Immanuel found the net of their opponent once again in the additional time of the first half to make it 3-0 at half time.
After the break, Chenude Immanuel sealed NEROCA's 4-0 rout over TRUGPU as he slammed home one again to complete his treble in the 88th minute.
