Manasseh Asia Foundation founded

Manasseh Asia Foundation, a platform for all the descendants of Manasseh, was formed on the concluding day of Chavang Kut celebration in Churachandpur, said a statement issued by the foundation today.
The foundation is an initiative which would provide a platform to address the socio-political challenges faced by Manasseh communities.
The foundation has leaders including Mizoram Chief Minister Lalthanhawla, Meghalaya MP Conrad R Sangma, Khampone Viengluang from the USA and KNO president PS Haokip as its patron members.
The foundation also has co-convenors from Nagaland and Assam as well.
The main purpose of Manasseh Asia Foundation is to serve the members of the Manasseh communities in Asia and its other purposes are to strengthen unity and fraternal bond between among the communities of Manasseh, to bring the groups together and to conduct seminars, workshops and researches on the communities.
