Imphal, February 26 2012:
All India Students' Federation (AISF), Manipur State Council has decried the trend of some teachers coming together under the name of 'Teachers' Board' and bringing out books of suggested questions of every subject during exam time to earn profit.
In a statement, State Secretary of AISF, Manipur State Council M Suranjit asserted that such books have hardly anything new from the previous editions with exception to some changes in the ordering of the so-called suggested questions.
But they are being sold anywhere between Rs 200 to Rs 500 per copy.
It is unfortunate that the teachers are taking undue advantage over the insecurity of some students and parents, Suranjit said.
