National Integration camp begins

Imphal, February 26 2012:
A National Integration Camp being organised by the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Senapati commenced yesterday at the training hall, Directorate of Art and Culture, Palace Compound, Imphal.
The camp will be held till March 2 .
The camp is being participated by around 150 youths from Nagaland, Assam, Bihar, Mizoram, West Bengal and from other districts of Manipur.
The inaugural function of the camp was held today with PK Jha, DC, Senapatui, L Sudhajit, District Youth Affairs and Sports officer, Senapati and Mrs Jackie Ruivah, Zonal Director, NYKS, Imphal Zone as the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and President respectively.
Delivering the keynote address, K Kumar, District Youth Coordinator, NYK, Senapti said that the camp was to create a nationwide opportunities and to promote National unity, peace and brotherhood for a stronger Nation.
L Sudhajit, District Youth Affairs and Sports Officer, Senapati said that we are proud to be an Indian where we have glorious past and present through the great sons and daughters of the nation.
He also appealed to the youths to build a better Nation and live in peace and harmony.
The inaugural function ended with the colourful performance of dance and music from the states of Nagaland and folk song and martial art from Imphal.
