CPI (M) condoles

The Communist Party of India (CPI-Marxist) has condoled the death of its former State Secretary, Comrade L Yaima (85) who passed away at his residence at Nambol
on July 4 .
As a mark of respect to the departed soul, a condolence meeting of the CPI (M) observed two-minute silence, said a statement issued by the secretary of the party, Sarat Salam.
It also shared the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family.
Stating that Yaima was a revolutionary who followed Jananeta Irabot closely even during his underground days and an activist of the party in any issue during his life time, the party said the demise of Yaima was a great loss to the farmers' community of the State.
