Imphal, May 24 2009:
29 Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp for the villagers of Tengnoupal yesterday.
Medical officers of 29 AR treated more than 135 patients and also advised them on necessity of hygiene and sanitation.
34 Assam Rifles also conducted a medical camp at Phundrei village of Thoubal district today.
Doctors and medical staff treated over 1000 patients from Phundrei, Langathel, Samram, Sapam and Khongjom villages.
Diagnosis and free treatment of patients, lecture on HIV/AIDS, hygiene and sanitation were conducted during the camp, said a press release of PRO Hqs IGAR (S).
