Imphal, May 24 2009:
Campaign for Electoral Reforms in India (CERI) is all to explore the possibilities of ushering in an appropriate electoral system in India.
In the first phase of 10-year long campaign, CERI will organise 15 State conferences, two National conferences and one International conference.
In the second phase, a team of experts will work on designing a suitable proportionate electoral system.
The third phase will press the Government to reform the system.
As a part of the first phase, a State level conference will be organised on May 25 and 26 at Hotel Imphal.
