In continued protest against the decision of the Government to ban the entry of Th Muivah to Manipur, there is no respite in targeting Government buildings with the latest case being the Co-operative office near the DC office at Ukhrul which was burnt down between 1:30 to 2 am yesterday, reports our correspondent.
Meanwhile, unidentified persons set on fire and reduced to cinders offices of the PWD and Statistics Department in Senapati district headquarters last night.
Torching of the Govt offices is suspected to be in protest against the State Cabinet's decision to bar the entry of Th Muivah.
Denouncing ban on Muivah's entry Mao had witnessed a violent protest on May 6 during which two persons were killed in police crackdown.
