Imphal, June 25 2015 :
The 72 hour bandh called by the Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) in Zeliangrong inhabited areas of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland has seriously affected normal life in some areas of the State.
Noney market and all the adjoining shops remained shut today.
There was no vehicular movement along Tamenglong section of Imphal-Jiribam highway.
Moreover, all National projects including Jiribam-Turpul railway project has been halted.
The ZUF called the 72 hours bandh with effect from June 24 midnight demanding creation of a separate Zeliangrong State within the Indian Union.
