International Peace and Social Advancement had condemned the recent attack on the people of Mao by Southern Angami People Organisation and Southern Angami Youth Organisation of Nagaland over the encroachment at Dzuko and Kojurii.
IPSA also alleged that the State government is keeping mum over the issue even when its people are harassed and beaten by volunteers of SADO and SAYO.
IPSA also informed that they take the matter seriously and will submit a memorandum to the Union government after coordinating with various civil society organisations in the State.
IPSA also said that it is very deplorable that the Nagaland based Angami civil society organisation to behave in a manner which was totally unexpected in spite of being a good neighbour.
Reminding the friendly neighbourhood relationships of Scandinavian States like Belgium and Netherland IPSA also informed that Dzuko valley could be developed with efforts from both Manipur and Nagaland.
IPSA also opined that Nagaland is benefitting a lot from road tax as transport vehicles belonging to Manipur pass through the State in great number.
IPSA said that the attempted encroachment by SADO is an unwelcome venture and they should withdraw peacefully.
