MMI lifts ban

Imphal, October 08 2021:
The ban imposed on visiting the MMI Complex of Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association (MMTA) owing to the COVID-19 pandemic has been lifted from October 7 .
A press release issued by MMTA on October 8 stated that persons interested in visiting the MMI Complex can do so after getting the required permission from MMTA in advance.
The visitors also have to follow the necessary guidelines and SOPs in place with regard to the pandemic.
However, any individual found visiting the premises without prior permission will be fined an amount of Rs 5000 per person, the press release added.
