Chandel, October 20 2015:
Instead of checking smuggling of drugs and illegal transportation of woods along Imphal-Moreh road, police personnel and Assam Rifles personnel have been unnecessarily detaining commuters, stated Moreh Border Trade Chambers of Commerce, Moreh.
8 kms before reaching Moreh, drivers were stopped by stating the road condition is not commutable.
Moreh Border Trade Chambers of Commerce, Moreh abide by the transport restriction issued by the PWD in Moreh.
However, despite the notice, there has been no restriction for Shaktiman and other heavy loaded vehicles till date, the statement said.
