Kangpokpi, October 20 2015:
The 48-hour total bandh in all hill districts of Manipur imposed by Joint Action Committee against the killing of Khupneilal Neihsiel and Robert Hesei Kipgen has ended.
Supported by various Kuki civil society organisations including Kuki Inpi Manipur, KSO, TSA, and TYA, the bandh completely disrupted normal life in most part of the hill districts and brought normal life to a standstill.
However, there was no report of any untoward incidents during the bandh.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Senapati Jacintha Lazarus's entourage heading for Imphal was halted for more than an hour at Gamgiphai Tuesday morning at around 10 am by the bandh enforcers.
It is also reported that around 50 loaded trucks and over 50 passenger vehicles including wingers, inter-state buses and private vehicles were forced to halt at Hengbung Composite Taxation Gate, Senapati public ground and police gate.
Meanwhile, a reliable JAC source said the committee is expected to hold a meeting with various Kuki civil society organisation leaders on Tuesday to decide further course of the agitation.
The meeting is likely to discuss imposition of indefinite economic blockade in all highways in the hill districts, said the source.
