Imphal, September 21 2022:
The State reported 'zero' COVID-19 case and zero Covid related fatalities after 11 days today.
The last time the State reported zero case was on September 10 .
During the last 24 hours, 149 samples were tested at various testing centres which all returned negative for COVID-19 making the daily positivity rate 'zero' .
As no new Covid cases were detected, the cumulative number of positive cases in the State stayed at 1,39,796 including 1,34,774 from the general population and 5022 CAPF personnel.
The cumulative death toll in the State is 2148. Today, 4 individuals were discharged after completion of surveillance leaving 24 active cases in the State.
The recovery rate is now at 98.45 percent.
As many as 4063 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered at various vaccination centres across the State on September 20.Till yesterday the State had vaccinated 62.41 percent (16,41,174 individuals) of its eligible population with the first dose of Covid vaccine while 54.66 percent (13,21,129 individuals) had received their second dose.
2,60,935 individuals had also received their precaution dose till yesterday.
36 out of 38 beds in Covid hospital JNIMS are vacant while all 62 beds in RIMS are unoccupied as of today.
