The chief minister disclosed this at the state level seminar on the book 'Modi@20: Dreams meet delivery' organised by BJP Manipur Pradesh as part of Seva Pakhwada programme at City Convention Centre, Palace Compound, here, on Wednesday.
During the event, N Biren said that celebrating the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as 'Unemployment Day' by a political party was very unfortunate while claiming that the BJP government has been declaring results of recruitment exams conducted by the past government.
He also said that government is planning to declare results of majority of the recruitment tests conducted by different state government departments within 15 days.
He also contended that Start-Up programmes initiated by BJP government has brought significant change in the state and budget for the programme has been increased from Rs 30 crore to Rs 100 crore per annum.
Commenting on the book 'Modi@20: Dreams meet delivery', the chief minister said that climate change must not be taken lightly and the steps taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding climate change issue are being taken seriously by global leaders.
While recounting comments given by imminent personalities on the book, N Biren Singh said that the book chronicles about 20 years of Narendra Modi's political journey, around 12 and half years as chief minister of Gurajat and eight years as the country's Prime Minister.
He said that Narendra Modi has successfully fought five elections and it is not easy to become the Prime Minister of the country from being a chief minister of a state.
Reproducing Union home minister Amit Shah's quote in the book, N Biren Singh said that a big change emerged in the country in 2014 as BJP secured absolute majority after 30 years.
While serving as chief minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi brought significant development in Gujarat and he did not work for success in the next election but for the next generation with a long vision, he said, adding that the book is being analysed not only by academicians but also by Amit Shah as home minister.
Biren also recounted Amit Shah's quote in the book that said that he (Amit Shah) could set foot on North East states due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The state level seminar was also attended by Union ministers Prahlad Singh Patel and Dr RK Ranjan, BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi and BJP ministers and MLAs apart from party workers.
