Will sort out land cases if elected: Nilachandra

Indian National Congress (INC) intending candidate in Kakching AC for the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election Yengkhom Nilachandra has said that he will sort out land settlement cases and provide documents to land owners if elected in the upcoming election.
Nilachandra stated this during an inspection cum donation visit at general education residential institute named Jamia Rahamania Sora located at Sora Makha Leikai Saturday.
He said that some land owners of Sora, Kakching Lamkhai and Bijoypur including Jamia Rahamania Sora are possessing only Dag Chitha at present.
Possession of only Dag Chitha cannot be genuine land owner as it means that the land is still in government's possession.
Government can re-claim the land anytime and there had been many such incidents in the past thereby affecting sentiment of many people, he said and promised to sort out settlement cases if elected in the upcoming election and becomes people's representative.
During the visit, Nilachandra met Muhtamin of Jamia Rahamania Sora Moulana Abdul Haque, assistant Muhtamin Moulana Akhtar Hussain, Nazim Moulana Burhan Uddin and other leaders and discussed about shortages of the institute.
