One India Foundation honours scribes

Imphal, December 25 2021:
One India Foundation, New Delhi founder member Sana Meitram of Sega Road on Saturday honoured several media persons of the state at the Pensioners' Shanglen in Pishumthong.
Speaking on the occasion, Sana informed that the One India Foundation has been carrying out humanitarian works under the aegis of Rajya Sabha MP and member of Standing Committee of Home Affairs, Government of India, Rakesh Singh, who is also the member of Press Council of India.
So far, the Foundation has extended assistance to the poor, provided oxygen to the sick and encouraged young photographers, entrepreneurs and students studying abroad.
Discussions are underway to promote journalists, he conveyed.
On the other hand, Sana Meitram donated a 1000-litre capacity water tank, one bag of potatoes and one bag of onions to Mapao Zingso Baptist Church in Saikul Mapao Thangal Village, on the occasion of Christmas festival.
