'Will strive for infrastructural development in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC'

Former MLA of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Assembly Constituency, Soibam Subhaschandra inaugurated a community hall at Lairenjam Awang Leikai and handed over to the public today.
It may be noted that S Subhaschandra bore the entire expense of the construction of the said community hall which was inaugurated today.
Addressing the public meeting held in connection with the inaugural function, the former MLA who is also intending to contest in the upcoming election said that he resign from the post of MLA earlier in the interest of the public and not for some personal gains.
He assured that he will strive earnestly to complete the developmental works in the constituency he has been eyeing for if he is re-elected as the MLA.

Enumerating the developmental works taken up by him, he stated that high mast street lamps have been installed at Mekola Bazar, drinking water is provided to the residents of Lairenjam which were deprived of proper water supply for many years and Malom Megha High School has been renovated under 'School Fagathansi Mission'.
Reacting to allegations labeled against him by some intending candidates he has closed down some government schools, he termed such allegations as misleading and baseless.
Contrary to such allegations, he has been working sincerely for the development of Government schools in the constituency, he added.
Further he appealed to all concerned not to indulge politics in the education sector.
Stating that he will continue to work for people's welfare, he said that his focus will now shift to infrastructure developments and sought for support and cooperation from all to make Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC a model constituency.
Further he sought permission from the public to name the inaugurated community hall as Wahengbam Angou Memorial Community Hall in honour of his mentor late Wahengbam Angou.
