Biren to come back today : CM - Amit Shah meet deferred

Chief Minister N Biren who is currently stationed at Delhi awaiting a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the proposed reshuffling of his Council of Ministers would return to Imphal tomorrow along with the six MLAs who resigned from their post and Congress party recently.
Notably, five of them have already joined BJP except Md Abdul Nasir (Lilong AC) .
As it is not clear when Union Home Minister Amit Shah would be discharged from AIIMS Delhi, the Chief Minister and the ex-MLAs would come back to Imphal tomorrow, sources informed.
BJP Manipur Pradesh president S Tikendra who is also currently stationed at Delhi told The Sangai Express that the Chief Minister has been staying at Delhi in accordance to the tentative scheduled fixed earlier by the Union Home Minister for a meeting on reshuffling the State's Council of Ministers.
The meeting would be rescheduled after Amit Shah is discharged from hospital and the Chief Minister would come back to Delhi when the meeting is fixed anew, Tikendra said.
Works Minister Th Biswajit who also went to Delhi for the same meeting which could not be materialised came back to Imphal a couple of days back.
He would also fly back to Delhi after the meeting is fixed anew.
Saying that he would stay back at Delhi for a couple of days more, the BJP Manipur Pradesh president informed that he would hold a meeting with Amit Shah and BJP National president JP Nadda as soon as Amit Shah is discharged from hospital to chalk out strategies for strengthening the party's organisation and ensure BJP's victory in the by-election to 13 Assembly segments of Manipur.
