He was speaking as Chief Guest of the inaugural function of 79th Annual Meet of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad held at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound here today.
Chief Minister Ibobi further said that Manipuri Sahitya Parishad established in the year 1935 has been working relentlessly for the upliftment and promotion of Manipuri literature.
It is the farsightedness of Manipuri ancestors which has contributed significantly to the development of Manipuri literature.
