5 new cases detected in Moreh Ward no 6

Moreh, June 02 2021:
Five new Covid-19 cases were detected via Rapid Antigen test (RAT) at Sub-District Hospital, Moreh on Wednesday.
According to a report, a woman renting a room at the residence of one E Kuber Singh of Ward no.6 was tested for Covid-19 at the Sub-District Hospital where she was admitted with complaints of ill health and her result came back positive after the test.
She is currently admitted to the Covid Isolation Ward of the hospital.
Meanwhile, members of Meetei Council Moreh took 14 other tenants in the same building for test at the hospital, wherein four of them were confirmed positive for the same infection.
All four people, who hailed from Bihar, are presently undergoing treatment at the Community Home Insolation Centre, Forest Guest House.
The detection of the new cases has caused mass hysteria among the people of Moreh, as one of the four people, is working as a barber.
As such, the barber's shop located along Moreh ward no.6, Tali road has been closed.
People from various communities of Moreh have sought the attention of the government in this regard at the earliest.
