Former Minister and present state executive of BJP Manipur Pradesh Thangminlen Kipgen has exhorted the people of Manipur not to hesitate from helping people during this unprecedented health crisis of Covid-19 pandemic.
He, however, said that any act of generosity should be done following strict COVID appropriate behaviour and purely on humanitarian ground without expecting anything in return.
The former Minister was speaking during a distribution function of D10 LPM oxygen concentrators donated by NLC India Limited, formerly known as Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited (Chennai, Tamil Nadu), at the CMO's office, Kangpokpi district on Wednesday.
"As little drop of water makes the mighty ocean, our little act of generosity during this health crisis could save a thousand lives", said the veteran politician while asking all like-minded citizens of the state to embark on humanitarian act through proper channel.
Thangminlen said that after discussing the prevailing situation in the state with his friend Ajang Khongsai, spokesperson BJP Manipur Pradesh, he wrote to the NCL India Limited for the assistance, adding that there was no political motive behind the act but done purely on humanitarian ground.
