Imphal, January 23 2023: The 6th Khundong-bam Brojendro Theatre Festival, 2023 organised by Khundongbam Brojendro Cultural Trust from January 18 concluded at JN Manipur Dance Academy on Monday.

Speaking at the valedictory function, Manipur Sahi-tya Parishad, Imphal president L Joychandra reminded all concerned that different art forms have been taking huge roles in identifying Manipur to the world.

While calling upon the present generation to never forget the elders and ancestors who bequeathed us with many unique art forms.

Joychandra also stressed on the need to encourage and guide the youngsters in get acquainted with the age old traditions of remembering the elders.

He also urged the younger generation to work with dedication and sincerity so as to fulfil the wishes of the late playwright Khundongbam Brojendro.

The valedictory function was also attended by 6th Khundongbam Brojendro Theatre Festival 2023 chairman retired IAS RK Nimai.

Theatre group from Assam namely Rongduli San-skritik Kendra performed 'Refugee' on the last day of the festival.
