PULF has today eliminated one of its cadres who allegedly ran away with two AK-56 Rifles from the Operation Green Army camp of the outfit.
The victim has been identified as Sarajuddin alias Sanatomba alias Ithemcha alias Sagir (19) s/o Habibur Rahaman of Hiyangthang Tarahei Chingya.
His bullet riddled body was found at place called Kamyai Lai Lampak, 4 kms east of Yairipok Police Station today at about 7.15 pm.
Parading Sirajuddin before the media somewhere in Sadar Hills area earlier during the day, Imran Laskar, spokesman of the outfit said Sirajuddin along with one Abdul Khalique alias Ranjan (32) s/o Abdul Bari of Hiyangthang Tarahei Awang Leikai fled after taking away two AK-56 Rifles and two magazines from Operation Green Army camp on the night of October 13 last.
Abdul Khalique had already been given capital punishment on October 19, the spokesperson added.
Involvement of Siraj-uddin had also been established with sustained interrogation in the custody of outfit and he too would also be given capital punishment accordingly, the spokesperson said, adding that in future other cadres of the Operation Green Army who commit similar mistake would met the same fate without giving any prior warning.
Taking serious note over the act of vandalism caused to house the one Md Nasir Khan alias Chandra s/o Salaman of Hiyangthang Tarahei Chingya in connection with the death of Abdul Khalique, the spokesman said such act of vandalism is against the party family members of Abdul Khalique should surrender to the outfit within November 12.Otherwise, they would not been forgiven, he added.
