RK Anand extends assistance to Mekola PHC

As part of the 'Seva Sangathan' and 'Mera Booth Corona Mukt" campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National president Jagat Prakash Nadda on Friday, BJP Manipur Pradesh state executive member and Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC ex-MLA RK Anand donated hand sanitisers, masks, gloves and sodium hypochlorite to the staff of Mekola PHC.
The ex-MLA also distributed similar items to those who visited the PHC for vaccination.
Speaking at the event, RK Anand informed that the PHC at Mekola is the lone upgraded PHC in the constituency.
He then said that the campaign launched by the PM and the BJP national president is a good step towards containment of the Coronavirus and as such, urged the party workers to take part in the campaign and help put an end to the pandemic.Informing that the campaign was launched in the AC as per the instruction to launch the same by Kisan Morcha of the states under BJP national Kisan Morcha president Rajku-mar Chahar; the ex-MLA assured of doing all�that is necessary to make the state Covid-19 free.
BJP Manipur Pradesh Kisan Morcha vice president and Imphal West and Imphal Central district in-charge Mutum Dineshwar, who also attended the launch programme, assured of working together with the ex-MLA in putting an end to the pandeniic.
Later, edibles were distributed to the Covid positive patients undergoing treatment at the Covid Care Centre set up at Mekola Gulap Higher Secondary School, in addition to extending monetary assistance.
The distribution was also attended by former Kodompokpl ZP member L Suranjoy and representatives of various clubs and organisations.
