Aid extended to homes, cancer patient

Imphal, June 29 2022:
As a part of Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) programme of Babina Group of Companies; Pamel Foundation, a charitable organisation of the company, extended aid to four senior citizens' homes and monetary aid to a cancer patient on Wednesday.
Speaking at the distribution of assistance held at Hotel Imphal, North AOC here, Babina Group of Companies managing director and Pamel Foundation president Dr Thangjam Dhabali informed that the Foundation has been helping children's homes, old age homes, sportspersons and patients since its inception in January this year.
For the fourth time, the Foundation is providing assistance to four senior citizen homes and to a cancer patient from Nongdam Tangkhul village, Kasom Khullen, who is presently under treatment in Guwahati, he added.
The assistance was handed over to Langol Old Age Home; senior citizen homes managed by Bashikhong Chanura Sinlon Lup at Bashikhong Kitnapanung, Ima Leimarel Women Welfare Association at Kongba Nongthombam Leikai and Centre for Upliftment of Rural Women Association at Keirao Wangkhem.
Daily use items including bed sheets, water pumps, towel, bucket, chair, mosquito net, pipe, and water tank and edibles were also handed over to the senior citizens' homes and a sum of Rs 50,000 as monetary aid to the cancer patient.
