Sharda sets rules for BJP ministers

The 12th death anniversary of BJP Manipur Pradesh founder president Laimayum Raghumani Sharma was observed at Shree Shree Krishnachandrajeu Mandhop, Khwai Brahmapur Nagamapal Laimayum Leirak on Friday.
Speaking at the programme which began with offering of floral tributes to the photo of the late leader as chief guest, BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda announced that BJP ministers will be present at the party office at least twice a week to hear the issues and views of the party workers.
Anyone who fails to honour the party duty will be reported to the national leaders.
Recalling the contributions made by L Raghumani, she stated that it was due to the work of the late leader that the BJP has achieved its present position in the state.
He planted the initial seed of the party in the state and till his death, which occurred during his travel for a party meeting held at Silchar, Raghumani worked for strengthening BJP, she mentioned.
A Sharda also conveyed that the dream of late party leaders of the state has now become a reality with BJP winning absolute majority.
Surely the late leaders as well as surviving pioneering leaders' hearts are filled with joy with party's achievements.
The party will work to implement the wishes of the late leaders as well as elders of the party and prays to them to bless the party in this endeavour, she further said.
In response to a proposal put forth by BJP Manipur Pradesh former vice president Ningombam Ibohal Singh, Sharda assured that an interaction programme will soon be held to facilitate introduction between senior workers of the party and BJP MLAs.
BJP Manipur Pradesh former vice presidents Thokchom Yumjao Singha and N Ibohal Singh, as well as Jatra Singh and Tomba Kabui also recalled the contributions made by late L Raghumani towards development of the party in the state.
