Schedule for re-poll likely on June 6

Most of the polling personnel of the Autonomous District Council (ADC) polls started arriving at the respective district headquarters on Tuesday.
Official sources in the State Election Commission said several polling personnel who were on duty at different polling stations in remote areas are yet to return and hence it is difficult to finalise the polling stations where re-poll will be needed.
The remaining polling personnel are expected to arrive at their respective district headquarters by Wednesday, the sources informed.
Polling for the six ADCs of Chandel, Senapati, Ukhrul, Tamenglong, Churachandpur and Sadar Hills was conducted on June 1. The ROs (Returning Officers) concerned will submit their reports to the State Election Commission after which the polling stations which require re-poll will be announced on June 6 .
In the polls, it has been estimated that the poll per centage in Ukhrul district was 80, 85 in Senapati district, 86 in Sadar Hills under Senapati, 95.5 in Chandel district, 75 in Tamenglong district and 82 in Churachandpur district.
