Pre-UPSC exam coaching conducted

Imphal, June 29 2014:
As part of the "Empowerment of Youth" campaign, 40 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (S) organised a Pre - UPSC Written Examination Coaching for NDA/CDS examination from 11 June 2014 to 28 June 2014 at Keithelmanbi.
The aim of this coaching was to prepare the local aspirants for the UPSC written examination for NDA/CDS for a career in the Armed Forces.
A total of 23 youths from all over Manipur attended this session.
The aspirants were provided with rigorous coaching by professional teachers in various subjects.
The programme was structured in a manner so as to give a complete exposure to the aspiring youths on the methodology of attempting the questions and answering them which they will be facing during the competitive exam.
The aspirants were provided free messing and lodging at the AR camp Keithelmanbi so as to motivate them and allow them to focus on their training.
Major General Rajeev Chopra, IG AR (S) and Brig V T Mathew, Commander, 9 Sector Assam Rifles attended the closing address on 28 Jun 14.Speaking on the occasion, Major General Rajeev Chopra, IG AR (South) motivated the youth to bring out their best in the forthcoming examination.
During his interaction with the students, he also reiterated the fact that AR is always a step forward in ensuring stability and development in the north east region by organising such socio-beneficial activities for a brighter future of the people of Manipur.
