Free medical camp held

In continuation with the endeavour to provide relief and assistance to the local populace by the 11 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (S) conducted a medical camp at Haolenphai, a remote village in Indo-Myanmar border on May 21 .
According to a statement issued PRO HQ IGAR (S), the medical team of the unit led by medical officer conducted the health check-up for the village and distributed free medicines.
Over 102 villagers came for treatment during the camp.
Apart from providing medical assistance, basic health education including precautions to guard against common diseases like Malaria, Diarrhea was imparted and importance of Hygiene and sanitation also explained to the villagers during the camp.
