SUK organises spelling competition

Imphal, May 24 2015 :
Students Union of Kangleipak had successfully organised preliminary round of the fourth SUK State Level Spelling Competition on Sunday at Johnstone Higher Secondary School.
Altogether 819 students from 56 schools of nine districts participated in the spelling competition conducted under two categories.
It is also informed that the final round will be conducted on May 31 at MIMS Hall Manipur University.
The selected students are listed at the notice board of Johnstone school and facebook page of SUK.
N Govind Meitei convener of organising committe SUK said that the competition was held to bring out the hidden talents of the students who are considered to be the future pillas.
Competition generates confidence among the students.
The first prize will be given Rs 10,000, second prize Rs 7000 and third Rs 5000, another 15 consolation prize for each category.
SUK also appeal the students community in the hills and valley to participate in the State level spelling competition annually.
