Naga Hoho appeals SAPO, Mao Council for peace

Naga Hoho has said it has been propagating peace and mutual understanding amongst all the Naga tribes and it has now acknowledged the Mao Council for withdrawing the proposed bandh on the issue of Dzukou related dispute with Southern Angami Public Organization (SAPO) .
Naga Hoho, the apex Naga body also questioned certain non-Naga community in Manipur and the Government of Manipur as to why they are interfering with "all their interest" on the issue when the problem is only within the Naga family.
The Naga Hoho urged the Government of Manipur and the particular community to abstain itself on the issue.
Further, the Naga Hoho strongly appealed both the Mao community and the Southern Angami community to restrain themselves from creating further misunderstanding but come together with the spirit of forgiveness in order to bring permanent amicable settlement.
Naga Hoho appealed the two communities to maintain the age old fraternity relationship in order to uphold peace and tranquillity for the best interest of the generations to come in particular and the Nagas in general.
