3 killed in separate road mishaps across State

Three persons were killed in three different accidents at Thoubal, Sangakpham Bazar and Moreh.
The mishap at Sangakpham Bazar occured yesterday while the two other accidents happened today.
As per report from Thoubal police, a road mishap took place near Panthoibi Laisang at Thoubal Wangma Taba at around 9 am today wherein one woman identified as 38 years old Thongram Sunita Devi of Thoubal Athokpam Awang Leikai died on the spot.
She is reported to be a teacher in RUDA Academy, Thoubal.
The accident happened when Thongram Sunita was on her way to school in her Activa and she was run over by a truck coming from the opposite side, added the police.
The truck involved in the accident has been seized and the body has been kept at JNIMS mortuary for post mortem.
The accident in Moreh happened at around 3.30 pm at a vehicle workshop near Moreh Forest Gate when a vehicle backing off from the workshop ran over one Md Jubesh (14), s/o Naha Ethem of Kwakta in Bishnupur district.
Md Jubesh is a worker in the workshop.
The body has been picked up by Moreh police for further investigation.
The incident at Sangak-pham Bazar happened at around 6.10 pm yesterday when an oil tanker ran over an unidentified man near Imoinu Chak hotel who died on the spot.
The unidentified dead body has been kept at JNIMS mortuary for identification and further procedure.
As per report from the Officer in Charge of Heingang police station, the unidentified man was wearing a full shirt with white, red, grey and black colour stripes with a white vest.
He was wearing dark grey jeans with a red colour belt along with a blue coloured cap.
The unidentified victim is said to be about 5 ft 2 inches to 5 ft 5 inches tall.
