AR orgainsed medical camp, Movie and Lecturer programmes

PRO HQ IGAR (S) informed that 20 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a medical camp at Chengkhu and T-Minou village in Chandel District on July 19 .
In view of changing climatic conditions and absence of adequate medical facility, large numbers of patients of Respiratory and Gastro-intestinal ailments were taken treatment.
The medical camp was conducted under the supervision of Medical Officer and medical staff of the 20 Assam Rifles.
A total of 308 villagers (Male - 111, Female - 108 and Children - 89 ) were treated during the medical camp.
Meanwhile, 11 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) also organised a movie programme for the children of New Mongjang village on July 17 .
New Mongjang village is one of the under developed village located on the Indo-Myanmar Border.
These border villages are lacking entertainment facilities and other sources of information.
To bridge this gap, an entertainment movie was screened for the children of New Mongjang village.
A total of 24 children including girls attended the same.
On the other hand, 24 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a lecture on "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" at Ril Ram Center (RRC) on Monday.
The programme was attended by 30 villagers included women and children of Ril Ram Center Village.
In the lecture emphasis was given to maintain a clean atmosphere and surrounding and adverse effects of littering and spitting was also brought out.
The attendees were also advised to maintain the surroundings pollution free by the use of dustbin and waste dumping areas.
