It was fake surrender drama: PREPAK

Reacting against the Home Coming Ceremony held on April 30 at HQ IGAR (S), Mantripukhri, the proscribed revolutionary group Peoples' Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) in a statement claimed that the home coming ceremony was a fake drama in which the Indian army and the state government join hand to woo or force poor workers with offering some mere benefits to execute the drama.
In the statement, PREPAK clarified that the 14 so called cadres of PREPAK who participated in the surrender drama namely Kh Suresh alias Ibomcha alias Kengba s/o Kh Manikhomdon of Lamding Elang Leikai, Ningthoujam Nanao alias Romiyo s/o N Bijen of Tokpaching Bamon Leikai, Loitongbam Premkumar alias Bihari s/o L Tomba Meitei of Khongjom, Koijam Vorot alias Khunjao (33) s/o K Iboyaima of Patsoi Part IV, Private Thokchom Boyai alias Mahadeva (31) s/o Th Jugeshwor of Patsoi Part V, Sarangthem Nanao (21) s/o S Shantikumar of Kakching Khunou, Haorokham Lokhon alias Leikha (30 ) s/o H Ibohanbi of Kwakeithel, Waikhom Amocha alias Rakesh alias Biken (20) s/o late W Manihar of Sekmaijin Thongam, Ningthoujam Herojit alias Shyamkumar (28) s/o N Chaoba of Lilong Chajing, Abujam Hemchandra alias Naoba (20) s/o A Sudam of Heirok Part III, Pingong (22) s/o Nganba of Moirang Khunou, Sarangthem Anand Meitei (22) s/o S Shyam Meitei of Kakching Khunou, W Imo (24) s/o W Shyamkumar of Hiyanglam and Hasir Haokip of Kangpokpi were not cadres of PREPAK and its armed wing Red Army.
They were either wooed with some benefits to play the role of fake UG cadres or arrested and forced to participate in the ceremony.
So, the surrender ceremony was to mislead the innocent people of the state over the ongoing revolution movement, the outfit asserted.
Reacting to the statement of Chief Minister O Ibobi who stated that the reason behind the present revolution is poverty, the outfit said that every person in the state know that the ongoing revolution in the state is not for poverty but for freedom from Indian Union.
