Help extended to victims of ILPS protests

Imphal, July 24 2015 :
Women Development Committee Public Club and LM Educational Institute of Khurai Khongnangmakhong have extended monetary help to the bereaved family of late Sapam Robinhood who died in police action during a protest rally on ILPS and to Haobijam Rison who is presently undergoing treatment at RIMS hospital due to injury during a protest rally on ILPS.
Besides, Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapan Nupi Khunai Chaokhat Kanglup also extended monetary help to the bereaved family of late Sapam Robinhood and to Rison Haobijam and Th Mahesh who are presently who are undergoing treatment at RIMS Hospital after they were injured during protest rallies demanding ILPS to safeguard the indigenous people of the State.
The organisations also observed a two- minute silence to show respect to the departed soul of Sapam Robinhood.
Meanwhile, the Shillong Manipuri students union appealed to the authority to release the students now in police custody after being picked up for taking part in a rally.
The students' body also demanded implementation of a proper Inner Line Permit System in the State.
